Welcome to the 2025 Italian Europa Cup Coaching Tour.
Join us from 7th to 15th June 2026 for what promises to be one of the season’s biggest Europa Cups. SailCoach will be on site with our world-class coaching team, offering both event support and a first-class learning experience. The tour kicks off with three days of intensive pre-regatta training from the beautiful town of Riva del Garda, giving you the chance to sharpen your skills under expert guidance before taking on the Europa Cup challenge.
Comprehensive Coaching Package
When you join a SailCoach Coaching Tour, you’ll work with a dedicated, highly skilled coach, often with Olympic campaign experience. Our tours are built around small support groups of around six sailors, ensuring plenty of individual attention. We provide a complete package that covers airport transfers, accommodation, and world-class coaching, with the option to add an ILCA charter boat if needed. All you need to do is enter the regatta and book your flights, we take care of the rest.
Learning Goals
At this Europa Cup, the SailCoach team will focus on building your regatta preparation skills. Each day, our coaches will guide you through a structured plan with clear goals for the upcoming races. You’ll gain practical knowledge on how to prepare effectively for major events, ensuring you arrive confident and ready to perform.
A key part of the program is learning how to adapt to different weather conditions and manage the pressures of high-level competition. Our coaches will help you develop winning race strategies, sharpen your ability to analyse races, and refine your tactics. With constructive feedback and guidance, you’ll also learn how to evaluate your own performance — just as top athletes do.
Success doesn’t come overnight, it takes consistent time and effort. With SailCoach, you’ll learn the right methods to prepare for regattas, setting yourself up for long-term progress. We encourage you to keep training and competing regularly to continue developing these skills and techniques..
A typical day
A typical day begins with a morning briefing, where we review the weather forecast, share key updates from the coaches meeting, and highlight specific points to watch for in the day’s racing. On the water, SailCoach coaches provide full support, from towing to the start line if needed, to carrying your bags with food, spare parts, and a jacket to keep you comfortable between races.
The day wraps up with a post-race debrief, analysing the racing and discussing lessons learned. Depending on circumstances, our coaches may also hold one-to-one briefings around the boat park before or after racing. We encourage sailors to resolve differences on the water or in the boat park whenever possible, but rest assured, our coaches will be there to support you in the protest room if needed.

The Program:
7th of June 2026
Arrive at into Verona Airport (VRN) and be met by a member of SailCoach’s friendly coaching staff, who will take you to Riva Del Garda, the venue for this year’s Italian Europa Cup.
8th to 10th June 2026
In the lead-up to the event, SailCoach offers three days of familiarisation and coaching at the regatta venue. During this time, our experienced coaches will help you get to grips with the local conditions and build valuable knowledge of the race area. You’ll also work on developing a strategic “Game Plan” for the regatta, supported by video analysis to refine your boat handling and speed, because thorough preparation is key to success. These pre-regatta days also give you the chance to connect with our coaching team, ensuring you head into the event with confidence and a strong advantage once the racing begins.
11th to 14th June 2026
Racing starts in the Italian Europa Cup, in what promises to be a tough event. Ahead lie four days of hard racing. However, don’t worry, SailCoach’s experienced coaching staff will be there giving you all the support you need on and off the water to help you reach your goals.
15th June 2026
At the end of the event, a SailCoach staff member will take you to Verona Airport (VRN) for your journey back home, hopefully with a couple of trophies to celebrate your achievements. One thing is certain: you will have gained valuable experience from this regatta and created lifelong memories and new friends that will stay with you forever.
For this regatta, we can provide two options for transfers:
Evening transfer on the 14th of June, immediately after the regatta or the morning transfer on the 15th of June.

Italian Europa Cup Coaching Tour Package
The package includes transfers from Verona Airport (VRN), comfortable accommodation, and SailCoach’s world-class coaching throughout the event. Please note that flights, ILCA charter, regatta entry fees, and pocket money are not included and should be planned for separately.
