Silver/Gold Level Coaching Tour
SailCoach can offer ILCA Laser Standard and Radial sailors this Coaching Tour so you can be at your best for this important regatta. The SailCoach Coaching Tour package has everything you need to have a successful championship, with none of the hassles. Numbers will be limited on this coaching tour, so you are advised to book early.
17th August 2021
Arrive at Weymouth train station to be met by a member of SailCoach’s friendly coaching staff and they will take you to the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, the regatta base.
18th to 21st August 2021
SailCoach’s coaching staff will help you get through registration and the regatta measurement, which is always a hard experience if you have not done it before. Our skilled coaches can help with sail numbers and national letters.
SailCoach will be training at the regatta venue for a day before the event. This will give our sailors a chance to get over any jet lag as well as gaining some valuable knowledge on the area. It will also help you get to know our coaches, a big advantage when racing begins.
22nd to 27th August 2021
Racing starts in the 2016 U21 Standard and Radial Worlds, in what promises to be a tough event with the gold fleet racing being fought out on the last three days. SailCoach’s experienced coaching staff will give you all the support you need on and off the water to help you reach your full potential.
28th August 2021
A member of the SailCoach staff will drop you off at Weymouth train station for your journey home, hopefully with a trophy or two under your belt.
