New Year's Elite Clinic:
These elite clinics are designed to balance quality sailing time with study at home, giving the opportunity for younger sailors or Federation Teams to come together for quality training. Outside the SailCoach monthly clinics sailors can devote their time fully to study and physical preparation and look forward to the next elite sailing camp.
The clinics will also provide young sailors with the opportunity to be coached by the most experienced Laser coaches available, including some national team coaches. The camps daily schedule will combine classroom lessons with on the water exercises offering healthy competition and is followed up with debrief of tactical and strategy situations. Sailors will receive individual attention both on the water and with video analysis.
Pre Clinic Entry Experience:
The focus group of sailors for these elite clinics is boys and girls, who are in fulltime education and at national sailing team level. Sailors that have a need to balance study, but maintain their sailing level over the winter months.
Programme:
1st January 2012: Arrive into Split airport and take the bus to the ferry port in the center of Split. From there make an onward journey to Stari Grad, Hvar island via ferry and a member of SailCoach's friendly coaching staff will meet you at the ferry terminal and take you to the town of Hvar, where we are based for this clinic.
2nd to 6th January 2012: New Year’s Elite Clinic at Hvar, Croatia. The clinics daily schedule will start each morning with a group briefing at 10:00hrs in the Sailing Club ZVIR Hvar and finishing at 16:00hrs.
6th or 7th January 2012: SailCoach staff will drop you off at Stari Grad ferry terminal for your journey home from Split after a quality training clinic.
Please Note: The dates shown above are the sailing days, therefore arrival should be planed for the day prior in the evening and flying home late evening of the last clinic day or the next morning.
