Radial Elite Training Camp

Radial Elite Camp:
These elite training camps are designed to balance quality sailing time with fitness training, giving the opportunity for younger Radial sailors or Federation Radial Teams to come together for quality training. 

The camps will also provide young sailors with the opportunity to be coached by the most experienced Laser coaches available, including some national team coaches. The camps daily schedule will combine morning fitness session and in the afternoon classroom lessons with on the water exercises offering healthy competition and is followed up with debrief of tactical and strategy situations. Sailors will receive individual attention both on the water and with video analysis.

Pre Camp Entry Experience:
The focus group of Radial sailors for these elite camps is boys and girls, who are in fulltime education and at national sailing team level. However they have a need to balance study, but maintain their sailing level over the winter months.

Programme:
22nd June 2011: Arrive into Verona Airpor to be met by a member of SailCoach's friendly coaching staff, where you will be taken to our Garda SailBase in the town of Torbole for the Radial Elite Training Camp.

If you would like to fly into and out of Brescia or Bergamo airports please ask us when booking, however you may have to use public transport to get to Rive del Garda and our staff will meet you at the Rive bus station.

22nd to 30th June: October at our Garda SailBase, the camps daily schedule will start each morning with a group bike ride at 08:30hrs and sail from our Garda SailBase, the day will finish at 20:00hrs with a debrief.

30th June: SailCoach will drop you off at Verona Airport to fly home after a top quality training camp.

Please Note: The dates shown above are the sailing days, therefore arrival at Verona Airport should be planed for the day prior in the evening and flying home late evening of the last clinic day or the next morning.

If you need a charter boat we have boats available at 350 Euros for the camp.
