Radial Elite Camp
As our normal SailBase Island is having some refurbishment work done this winter, therefore we have moved our SailBase down the coast a little towards Marseille in the town of Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer. As it has a lot of what Embiez has to offer, re sailing conditions and life in this Provence town is lived at a slow pace....
Radial Elite Camp:
These elite camps are designed to balance quality sailing time with study at home, giving the opportunity for younger Radial and 4.7 sailors or Federation Teams to come together once a month for quality training. Outside the monthly camps sailors can devote their time fully to study and physical preparation and look forward to the next elite sailing camp.
The camps will also provide young sailors with the opportunity to be coached by the most experienced Laser coaches available, including some national team coaches. The camps daily schedule will combine classroom lessons with on the water exercises offering healthy competition and is followed up with debrief of tactical and strategy situations. Sailors will receive individual attention both on the water and with video analysis.
Pre Camp Entry Experience:
The focus group of Radial and 4.7 sailors for these elite camps is boys and girls, who are in fulltime education and at national sailing team level. However they have a need to balance study, but maintain their sailing level over the winter months.
Please Note: The dates shown are the sailing days. Arrival should be the day prior in the evening at Toulon or Marseille Airports. When booking the flight please try for our 19:00hrs airport pick-up time. SailCoach will also drop the sailors off at airport again in plenty of time to catch their flight home the last evening or morning after the camp finishes.
