4.7 Highfliers Summer Camp
The camp is designed to help improve boat preparation with the most recent developments in the class, sail settings and advanced boat handling skills including roll-tacking, roll-gybing and mark roundings. The Highfliers Summer Camp will look hard at developing both Upwind and Downwind speed with extensive use of video analysis.

Pre Clinic Entry Experience
The focus of this five day Highfliers Summer Camp is set up to provide a platform for sailors who have been active in their national youth sailing circuits or Optimists sailors would like to make the transition to the Laser Class.

SailCoach believes strongly in the multi-national training concept and this one week of hard training will give sailors the opportunity to push themselves hard against competitors from other countries.

It will also provide young sailors with the opportunity to be coached by the most experienced Laser coaches available, including coaches who have been members of the Team SailCoach squad at the Athens and Beijing Olympics.

The camps daily schedule will combine classroom lessons with on the water exercises offering healthy competition and is followed up with debrief of tactical and strategy situations. Sailors will receive individual attention both on the water and with video analysis.

Programme:
8th August: Arrive into Verona Airpor to be met by a member of SailCoach's friendly coaching staff, where you will be taken to our Torbole SailBase for the Highfliers Summer Camp.

If you would like to fly into and out of Brescia or Bergamo airports please ask us when booking, however you may have to use public transport to get to Rive del Garda and our staff will meet you at the Rive bus station.

9th to 13th August: 4.7 Highfliers Summer Camp Torbole SailBase, the camps daily schedule will start each morning with a group briefing at 10:00hrs in the Torbole SailBase and finishing at 17:00hrs.

14th August: SailCoach will drop you off at Verona Airport to fly home after a top quality training clinic.

The dates shown above are the sailing days, therefore arrival at Verona Airport should be planed for the day prior in the evening and flying home late evening of the last clinic day or the next morning.

If you need a charter boat we have boats available at 250 Euros for the clinic.
