October 4.7 Highfliers Clinic
The camp is designed to help improve boat preparation with the most recent developments in the class, sail settings and advanced boat handling skills including roll-tacking, roll-gybing and mark roundings. The October 4.7 Highfliers Clinic will look hard at developing both Upwind and Downwind speed with extensive use of video analysis.

Pre Clinic Experience
The focus of this five day October 4.7 Highfliers Clinic is set up to provide a platform for sailors who have been active in their national youth sailing circuits or Optimists sailors would like to make the transition to the Laser Class.

SailCoach believes strongly in the multi-national training concept and this one week of hard training will give sailors the opportunity to push themselves hard against competitors from other countries.

It will also provide young sailors with the opportunity to be coached by the most experienced Laser coaches available, including coaches who have been members of the Team SailCoach squad at the Athens and Beijing Olympics.

The camps daily schedule will combine classroom lessons with on the water exercises offering healthy competition and is followed up with debrief of tactical and strategy situations. Sailors will receive individual attention both on the water and with video analysis.

Programme:
9th October: A SailCoach staff member will come to Verona airport to meet you and take you to our SailBase by minibus.

10th to 21st October: October 4.7 Highfliers Clinic at Lake Garda SailBase, the camps daily schedule will start each morning with a group briefing at 10:30hrs in the SailBase and finishing at 17:00hrs.

22nd October: SailCoach will drop you off at Verona to fly home after a top quality training clinic.

Points to note
The dates shown above are the sailing days, therefore arrival at Verona airport should be planed for the day prior in the evening and flying home late evening of the last clinic day or the next morning.
