Standard and Radial Downwind Clinic

Laser Standard and Radial Downwind Clinic.
Our Lake Garda Downwind Clinic will concentrate on the art of sailing down wind in a Laser, which is what separates the men from the boys…! SailCoach prides itself on our ability to improve downwind speed, you don’t have to be the most gifted sailor to understand what makes a Laser go fast downwind.
After you have that understanding the rest is practice, practice and more practice. We give you this under the watchful eye of our coaches and with the help of video analysis you can see where to improve upon your downwind technique.
We run this clinic on Lake Garda as it offers the opportunity to sail down the lake in the morning and sail back up the lake in the afternoon with the wind behind us all the time. Just think of how pleasant four days of Laser sailing will be without having to hike..!

Programme:
2nd May: Arrive into Verona Airpor to be met by a member of SailCoach's friendly coaching staff, where you will be taken to our Torbole SailBase for the Highfliers Summer Camp.
If you would like to fly into and out of Brescia or Bergamo airports please ask us when booking, however you may have to use public transport to get to Rive del Garda and our staff will meet you at the Rive bus station.
3rd to 7th Mayl: Downwind Clinic, the daily schedule will start each morning with a group briefing at 10:00hrs in the Torbole SailBase and finishing at 17:00hrs.
8th May:: SailCoach will drop you off at Verona Airport to fly home after a top quality training clinic or stay on with us and sail the Europa Cup regatta.

The dates shown above are the sailing days, therefore arrival at Verona Airport should be planed for the day prior in the evening and flying home late evening of the last clinic day or the next morning.
If you need a charter boat we have boats available at 250 Euros for the clinic.
