Ferries to the Island
There is a regular ferry service, which runs between les Embiez and the mainland between 06:45 and 19:20 each day (Winter). Normally vehicles can only make the crossing between about 08:30 and 16:30.
We have negotiated a special rate for SailCoach customers on this ferry which equates to approximately half price travel.
In the winter the ferry that runs each day can hold two cars/ minibus as well as foot passengers. However it will not fit large trailers and these need to be booked before you travel. The larger ferry runs every Friday and this can hold several cars and take large trailers.
In the summer the large ferry runs on a daily regular schedule.
SailCoach has negotiated a special fare for our clients on the ferry to the island. Please inform the ferrymen that you are with us otherwise they will charge you the full whack!
Alternatively send one person to the island to meet the SailCoach representative who will then bring the Coach boat across to help you to unload your equipment. The harbour master's office in the port should be able to direct you to the SailCoach apartments.
