On the French shores of the Mediterranean, near the picturesque resorts of Bandol and Sanary in the Var Department, Ile des Embiez is an island just off the coast from the small port of Le Brusc.
The island is situated 20km to the west of Hyeres the site of the April Eurolymp regatta. The location gives ready access to both Italy and Spain by road, and is only about 12 hour drive from Calais, France and 14 hour drive away from Kiel, Germany. You may bring your car onto the island, but you will be asked to leave it confined to the car park, as vehicles are not allowed to drive around the island.
