SailCoach Charter Lasers great value for money.
High specification sailing machines...
The European summer provides Laser Sailors from around the world with great regattas. If you think Europe will be an easy ride because of a post Olympic slump THINK AGAIN!
The depth of skill in the fleet makes these regattas some of the toughest and most challenging you'll come across in Laser sailing. That is why you MUST be in Europe and SailCoach is here to help.
SailCoach has been operating European Laser Charters and Laser Coaching Tour Packages for over 15 years. This year we have three new Lasers, all and 3 quality boats with the new systems for charters. Three quality boats that are a maximum of 24 months old but in excellent racing condition.

Chartering Procedures
The usual procedure is to check the boats out a couple of days before the start of the regatta. You sign a form acknowledging the condition the boat was in when you pick-it-up and pay a damage deposit of 200 euro, then your ready to go training.
At the end of the regatta you check the boat in and sign the boat off assuming there is no damage and when you have got the all clear from the charter manager we refund the damage deposit.
Any damage to the gel coat (on the hull) will incur a 35 euro fine deducted from the damage deposit. Spars and foils that are badly bent or broken will incur a fine of 50% of the purchase price.

The SailCoach charter boats are supplied with the following equipment provided:
* Laser hull with bailer fitted that is guaranteed to be less than two years old
* Harken Mainsheet Block
* Racing padded toe strap, shockcord and toe strap line.
* Spars, lower and top mast, boom complete with all fittings attached
* Mainsheet deck side cleats
* Mainsheet block with spring
* XD deck base fittings with cleats, but without blocks
* Launching trolley
You may not make any alterations to any part of the boat, its equipment, spars or fittings, even if subsequently replaced, without approval from SailCoach.
Equipment not provided (you need to supply the following):
* Sails
* Foils/Blades (centreboard and rubber, you can hire for 50 euro extra).
* Tiller and tiller extension
* All control lines with all control line blocks
* Traveller blocks
* Boom vang
* Wind indicator
* Compass
Please remember all the small blocks for the control systems as we can not supply these.
Masts are available in the charter price however it’s very difficult to keep them in good racing order and if you are particular about you mast we suggest you bring your own.
Can I also remind you that you are responsible for the boats insurance at the regatta and need to transfer your own Laser insurance for the charter period.

Charter of Laser Foils/Blades
We can help with Laser foils but, having been sailors ourselves we can tell you it is cheaper to bring your own. It is hassle on the plane but at least you avoid the high charter prices.
Laser foils cost €50 per regatta with a €100 damage deposit. Any significant chips result in the loss of the damage deposit.
Boat Insurance
Boat Insurance is not covered within the charter price. Please make sure that you transfer your own Laser Insurance before you travel as most regatta organizers will ask for it in writing.
Booking
All Lasers are chartered subject to availability. A 200 Euro non-refundable deposit must be received to reserve a booking. The balance payment must be received at least 30 days before the beginning of the charter period.
Please note: Hyéres World Cup, Delta Lloyd World Cup, Kiel World Cup, Laser Standard Senior & Youth European Championships, the Radial European Championships all have a very high demand for Laser Charters each year.
Please e-mail us first to see what availability we have for the regatta you would like to attend, before you make a any payment.
